Ecuador está acreditada por el Servicio de Acreditación Ecuatoriana (SAE) como Organismo de Inspección para el etiquetado y rotulado de productos.

Para la importación de calzado, se deberá cumplir con el Reglamento Técnico Ecuatoriano RTE INEN 080:2013 donde se establece los requisitos de Etiquetado de Calzado.

El objetivo es proteger la vida y la salud de las personas, prevenir prácticas que puedan inducir a error a los consumidores y proteger el medio ambiente.
